    aid
    1910 Finding aid - "Transcript of Queens enrollment books for 1910" - several issues of "The City Record" published throughout 1910. - 1 reel (FHC# 1759112). This was a voter's list, so women and non-citizens were not included.

    If you don't know your subject's address or general location, you will have to scan many pages of small type. Even so, this is easier than scanning the 1910 census schedules. It also provides additional data (below). If you know your addresses, see the two finding aids above.

    The first section of each of the 4 A.D.s lists each voter within each Election District, his address and political affiliation. These lists are alphabetized by first letter of surname within each E.D..
    Section two is a cross-reference. Within each A.D./E.D. the voter population of each street is listed in house-number order. It provides no additional information, but this organization provides an interesting snapshot of the neighborhood and an opportunity to search the neighborhood for related names.

    There are a total of 132 Election Districts within 4 Assembly Districts.
    A.D. 1 (27 E.D.s) and AD 2 (28 E.D.s) are L.I.C.;
    A.D. 3 (42 E.D.s) Flushing
    A.D. 4 (35 E.D.s) Jamaica.
    The Election Districts do not correspond exactly with the Enumeration Districts of the 1910 Federal Census schedules, which had 145 Queens E.D.s numbered from 1145 to 1290. You can't pinpoint your 1910 Federal E.D., but you can estimate to within a few districts.
