FAMILY HISTORY CATALOG
The Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) in Salt Lake City, Utah maintains
a catalog on CD-ROM or microfiche of their holdings
which you can view at their Family History Centers
and at many libraries.
The cataloged films and fiche are available only at
FHCs and a few libraries that have lending agreements with the LDS.
Film rental prices vary considerably, from about $3 a reel at an FHC
to about $7 a reel at a private library.

The LDS carries at least a portion of the most important record groups. One exception is
newspapers.
