NOTES: Except for isolated instances in 1857, 1862, 1866 and 1888
the HOGAN family was either not listed or not discernable in any
public records, census or city directories until 1900.
It is my hope that baptismal records for Patrick's and Thomas' children
will eventually surface and shed some light on the family's early years.
The other families: HANDY, WORTH, DONOHUE and MCMAHON were more visible and easier to trace.
This list is INCOMPLETE.
