Henry J. Flanagan, old-time resident of Astoria, died early today at his home, 544 Thirtieth street (First avenue) He was the first president of the Holy Name Society of Mount Carmel Church and was also well-known as a member of the Veteran Fireman's Association of Astoria. Mr Flanagan was a former Federal employee. He retired ten years ago.

He leaves his wife, Mary, three daughters, Josephine Howell, Irene Hefner and Anna Flanagan, and three sons, George, Harry and Edwin. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
